Paul started singing along with the radio at age 2 and has always enjoyed sharing music with others. In 1997 he undertook vocal studies with Robert Bickerstaff and began a double degree at the University of Newcastle - Arts with a French major and Music majoring in Voice. Paul toured the UK and France in 2000 and 2002 with the acclaimed University of Newcastle Chamber Choir. Over the years Paul has performed many stage roles in the Newcastle area, including: Frederic in Gilbert and Sullivan's The Pirates of Penzance, and Rapunzel's Prince in Sondheim's Into the Woods. Paul also performed the 'pants role' of Orestes in Offenbach's La Belle Helene. Paul has been a member of the Australian Brandenburg Choir since 2003 which regularly performs with the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra.
