Kyle has been singing professionally since 1999 although his family and friends were well aware of his abilities from an early age. He studied piano from the age of 7 and completed his Bachelor of Music/Bachelor of Teaching degree from the University of Newcastle in 2004; majoring in piano. He has been teaching full-time since 2004 and is currently Head of Creative & Performing Arts at Wyong High School. Kyle is passionate about developing and promoting the engagement, self-esteem and performance of boys in the Performing Arts, a perspective shared by the rest of the quartet. Kyle joined the nationally renowned University of Newcastle Chamber Choir in 2000, singing with them on tour around England/Scotland/Wales in 2000 and London/Paris in 2002 including live BBC radio performances. He has performed vocally as a soloist at many Hunter/Central Coast events over the last decade including the successful “Colours of Jazz” concert fundraiser for the cancer council, and more recently as a baroque soloist for the Central Coast Philharmonia Choir and Orchestra. Kyle found the group's Australia's Got Talent 2009 experience amazing, unique and utilmately worthwhile after they made the Semi-Finals. Despite the often late-night drives up and down the F3 for rehearsals, he enjoys singing in ‘Short Back and Sides’ immensely. Kyle, his wife and 2 sons reside on the Southern Central Coast of New South Wales.
